The session has been held at Boryspil airport with Eurocontrol's experts

At the International airport "Boryspol" the planned meeting with experts of Eurocontrol has been held by Mr Dave Hogg and Ms Geraldine Flynn. At a meeting intermediate results of introduction of system Collaborative Decision Making for Airports (CDM-A) within the limits of realisation in Ukraine Local Single Sky Implementation Plan (LSSIP) have been brought. Administration of the airport and members of working group on system CDM-A introduction have acquainted experts with a course of performance of the Introduction CDM-A's plan, have discussed substantive provisions of the Memorandum of mutual understanding and questions which have arisen during introduction of the given project in GP МА "Borispol". Experts of Eurocontrol have noted considerable advancement of airport "Borispol" and have highly appreciated the reached results.
The given system which has already been operated at the airports of Bruxelles, Munich, Frankfurt and Paris, and in airports of Stockholm, Helsinki, Milan, Barcelona, London and Amsterdam is at a final stage of introduction, is directed on increase of overall performance of the airport by reduction of delays of sendings of flights, increase of resources OVD using the enterprises-accessory manufacturers, increase of predictability of events at each stage of flight and preparation of the plane for flight, improvement of interaction of bodies OVD, services of airlines and land services, decrease in expenses.
Airport system CDM allows more effectively and to make in due time decisions at each airport entering into network CDM, considerably reducing quantity of delays because of slot-regulation and raising a regularity of performance of the flights as a whole. Partners of this network can exchange the exact and timely information, using messages in format CDM-A, operatively to make decisions on standard procedures OVD and land service of aircrafts.
According to the arrangement reached during a meeting, during the period from July, the 4th till July, the 7th 2011 on the basis of the educational centre of airport "Borispol" experts of Eurocontrol will carry out training of GP МА "Borispol"'s employees and the adjacent organisations on CDM-A system.
